Wellbeing at Work

The Wellbeing at Work programme has been developed to offer a variety of innovative and proven stress reduction options to companies and organisations on site, at conference or within our centre.  Here at Exeter Natural Health Centre, we work with you to ensure an individually constructed programme for you and your employees, no matter what the size of your organisation.

“In 2011, 35 million working days were lost to musculoskeletal problems, 13.3 million to stress, depression & anxiety and 27.4 million to minor illness”   www.stastics.gov.uk

Supporting education & health awareness

Wellbeing at WorkCreating and maintaining a healthy work environment is vital in addressing stress and the effect it has on any business and its employees.

We are able to offer various alternative holistic solutions to help reduce stress in the work place. These include extensive massage therapies, mindfulness, stress management techniques, supervision and nutritional therapy. These provide essential tools to enable individuals to actively take responsibility for their general wellbeing on a daily basis.

“Mental wellbeing is a dynamic state in which the individual is able to develop their potential, work productively and creatively, build strong and positive relationships with others and contribute to their community”   NICE Guidelines

Supporting emotional & physical wellbeing

Wellbeing at WorkIt is proven that what affects us emotionally will also have a bearing on our physical wellbeing and vice versa. Holistic healthcare takes into account the whole person and treats everyone as an individual.

“Prolonged stress is linked to psychological conditions such as anxiety and depression as well as physical conditions such as heart disease, back pain and headache”   NICE Guidelines

Supporting Flexibility

We understand that like individuals, no two companies are the same. We therefore aim to work with you to discover exactly what package and approach will best suit you and your employees.

Supporting Flexibility

We have beautiful city centre room space, which is available to hire for away days, which we can help facilitate if required. However, we appreciate that it isn’t always possible for an individual or group to leave the work place, so have developed an onsite package, working with easily transportable equipment enabling us to work in whatever space you have available.

“Sitting in front of a computer all day causes strain on the shoulders and neck and therefore having access to treatment like this helps immensely. Personally, purely due to time constraints, having treatments at the workplace is great”   Employee, Thomas Westcott.

“I wanted to thank you for a marvellously restoring session with you at Olympia. The neck, shoulder and head massage was so incredibly invigorating. I’m still feeling the effects”   Sarah, Delegate at HE Expo Exhibition

” I would like to take the opportunity of thanking you for your efforts at our exhibitions this year. You made a fantastic addition to our team and made the whole “Relax” theme stand out from the crowd. It is always difficult finding people who fit in with an existing team but you seemed to manage perfectly to get along with everyone. I would not hesitate to recommend your services to anyone”   Richard Corbett, Area Sales Manager, Ellis Furniture.
