Why work from Exeter Natural Health Centre?
No doubt we have all had to be in the position of working from home at some point in our career, which can be very convenient. However, there is also something immensely satisfying about “going out to work” to a centre like ENHC. Being able to practice in a professional environment, with your own room, waiting space and reception gives you and your clients the space and atmosphere that you deserve. Working from the city centre you have the advantage of being right in the midst of things as well as being easily accessible for your existing clients and creating an opportunity to meet potential clients. You will also have the advantage of being amongst like minded people who are normally willing to inter refer and who might well benefit from the skills you have to offer and vice versa.
When I first came to the centre in 2001, it felt immediately welcoming and intuitively right for me to be working from here in a creative and energetic way. As a new therapist to our centre you will be welcome to take advantage of all of the following at no extra cost:

Please note: Working from ENHC is dependant on an informal interview with the Practice Manager and following submission of copies of your relevant qualification certificates and insurance certificates. All of our therapists MUST be currently fully insured to practice.

Room hire for therapists and practitioners
We have three lovely rooms available to rent by therapists which are suitable as treatment / practice rooms for any of the complementary therapies. Rougemont – the smallest, Boston -medium sized and Phoenix our largest room, which is also available for small workshops (see below). Each is well furnished with a covered couch, pillows and blankets, two comfortable chairs and low table. You will need to bring towels and couch roll if you use it. All of the rooms are bright and airy all having a big window to let in natural light. You can choose to use lamps and candles if you prefer more subtle lighting and you are welcome to play music and to generally make the room your own when you use it. There is a filtered water machine and facility for making hot drinks freely available for you and your clients.
Rooms are available to rent on the following basis and at these prices which are the same for all three rooms:
Ad hoc hours – £12 per hour.This gives you flexibility if you are unable to commit to a set time each week. You need to book the room in advance by email or telephone and you are not guaranteed necessarily to get a room (depending on availability) or the same room each time.
Half day rental – morning (9.30am-1.30pm) or afternoon (2pm-6pm) – £40 per session. Rent is paid monthly in advance and this guarantees you the same room each week. For those therapists taking an afternoon session who would like the flexibility of working on into the evening, the fee is £45 per session covering you for the afternoon and unlimited evening hours.
Full day rental – 9am-6pm – £60 a day. As for the half days above. Note: therapists wishing to take two separate half day sessions, will be given the discounted rate as for a full day.
If you require more time than this, discounted rates are available in discussion with the Practice Manager.
Weekends and evenings are also available (without reception facility) in discussion with the Practice Manager.
Room hire for classes
Hire of our training room for regular weekly classes is priced at £15 per hour (or £20 for an hour and a half class) which is invoiced for monthly in advance.
Room hire for courses, workshops & events
Here at ENHC we are very used to hosting events, workshops, courses and meetings for all sorts of different people offering all sorts of different things. From massage to meditation, from green business development meetings to midwifery courses, we have had a lot of experience in helping people to create a welcoming and comfortable space to hold their event – big or small.
A city centre location on the M5 corridor and with good rail connections is very useful for delegates coming in from outside the city. It is also very convenient for delegates and clients to have immediate access to local shops, cafes and restaurants as well as being directly above Boston Tea Party coffee shop. We are able to provide refreshments including an urn for larger groups. People are very welcome to eat here and there is a small kitchen area including a fridge and microwave to make or store light lunches etc. We are able to erect whiteboards and provide seating and there is free wireless for internet use. We like to prepare the space for you in advance and to do everything we can to help you set up and then clear up after you finish.

Training room & Phoenix room – hiring information & fees.
This is our largest space which can hold 25 people seated. If you are using couches or plan to do movement activities then for comfort sake, we advise less people than this. We always encourage you to come and see the space for yourself to see what you think will work best for you. The training room is equipped with a mounted white board and projector screen at one end and has storage for all the blankets, pillows and cushions. The floor space is carpeted and is left empty ready for use.

People wishing to hire the training room for a series of events / seminars longer than a weekend will receive a discounted rate at the discretion of the Practice Manager.
The training room space is very popular and we suggest booking well in advance and if possible with some flexibility around choices of dates to ensure you get the times you require.
A deposit of 25% is required to secure the hire of the training room. This deposit will be non refundable if there is less than 14 days cancellation notice received, otherwise the full deposit will be returned.
This room can hold 12 people seated and again please check the space yourself first if you require couches / movement activities. Some people prefer this room if their work needs to feel a little more contained as it is a less formal space than the training room. We can still erect a whiteboard for you if you wish.
