Ali Morrish RSHom, Clinical Director and Jungian Therapist

aliAli is the Clinical Director of both Exeter Natural Health Centre and The South West College of Homoeopathic Medicine. She is very passionate about the promotion of integrated health care and has many years of experience working as a therapist, teacher and supervisor within both complementary medicine and mainstream environments.

Ali’s background is in homoeopathic medicine and she has been a practitioner, supervisor and teacher since 1995. From 2002 onwards, she has worked in analysis with Julian David (senior Jungian analyst) and studied the works of Jung, including dreams and stories. It is these psychotherapeutic tools which inform her work with patients. Working with the psyche, the soul and the dreams that people bring to her, is Ali’s greatest love and whilst happy to recommend homoeopathic remedies should they come up for consideration, patients seeking conventional homoeopathic treatment are referred to her husband Mo Morrish.

‘I have known Ali since 2002 and have been impressed by her natural skill with the soul and its needs.  I support her expansion from homeopathy into dream-work and a broad intuitive therapeutic approach”. Julian David, Senior Jungian Psychoanalyst

“My years with Ali as a patient of her homoeopathic practice were unquestionably enhanced by her knowledge of Jungian therapy.  Her breadth of experience makes her a unique therapist.” LE

Ali worked for 6 years as a Homoeopath and therapist at St Luke’s Hospice, Plymouth both on the inpatient wards and in the outpatients department. She sees it as a huge privilege to work with those who are at the end of life and those who are working with their grief and need someone to walk alongside them for a little while on their journey. From her time at the hospice, she gained a sound knowledge of working with people with cancer and advanced disease including end of life care and bereavement work. Ali has lectured for several years in palliative care to therapists all over the UK and Ireland.

Ali trained in advanced supervision in 1998 and since then has been supervising both students and practitioners of various professional modalities. Ali is able therefore to offer clinical supervision to homoeopaths and personal supervision to other healthcare professionals when required.
